Robin is the owner of Robin Bates Dog Training and Education NI and has been a dog trainer and behaviourist for over 15 years.
Robin started at a dog club with his own dog and became an instructor after a few years and was in the Northern Ireland Obedience Team with his Airedale terrier Poppy.
Robin is a member of the APDT Association of Pet Dog Trainers. As well as a Doggone Safe and DogNostics Career Centre Dog Bite Prevention Educator.
In the past Robin was a dog walker, helped run a successful boarding kennels and worked for Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary helping with training rescue dogs.
Currently, Robin runs puppy classes, training classes for older dogs and some specialised classes.
He also offers one to one training and behavioural consultation and teaches accredited OCN NI courses alongside behaviourist Sandra Gilliland. The accredited courses are for people with a professional or personal interest on Canine behaviour and training.
He owns 3 dogs, Maggie a lurcher, Bill a lab collie cross and Jake a yorkie, all rescues and oh yes Syd the cat.
Ashleigh has been working with dogs in many ways with years of experience, Ashleigh works in a veterinary practice, has fostered many dogs and completed courses on Canine Bereavement, Animal Care, Animal Health as well as Practical Dog Handling, Principles of Dog training OVCNNI level3, Puppy Development and first aid.
We are always keen to keep up CPD and education with the team.
Ashleigh teaches puppy classes and does home training.
Ashleigh has four dogs; Dave (pictured), Dudley, Murphy and Winston as well as Ellie the cat.
Gregg has been working with dogs for several years. He runs his own successful dog walking and pet sitting business as well as having experience working in a dog kennel. He has been a dog lover for as long as he can remember. He recently completed both the Practical Dog Handling Training OCN level one and The Principles of Dog Training OCN level three.
