Following on from our talk at the Lamppost café earlier this month about aging dogs, I just thought I would summarise my thoughts.
We spend a lot of time thinking about puppies, socialisation and training and do not talk enough about aging dogs.
Last night we talked about the importance of continued training, socialisation, enrichment and mental stimulation throughout the dog’s life. These things keep the brain working and can slow down the process of brain aging.
